Senior Accountant

FIGS is seeking a strong Senior Accountant with an emphasis on Order to Cash for our month-end financial close, financial reporting, external audits, and other accounting and finance projects. We are looking for someone who can thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, emerging growth environment to help take the Accounting function to the next level. The ideal candidate will be a successful, curious, and proactive Accountant who wants to continue building their accounting career collaborating with a like-minded team.

What You will Do:

• Reconcile Cash transactions recorded in NetSuite with the Bank statements.
• Prepare and Book journal entries related to Cash, Revenue, AR.
• Contribute to the development, testing, and implementation of automation related to sales transactions.
• Ensure revenue and cost of goods sold are recorded based on an accurate ship date cutoff and in line with GAAP requirements.
• Reconcile payouts from customers and cash transactions using the reports from the merchant.
• Work cross functionally with the Finance department to explain material changes in Cash, AR accounts.
• Provide ad hoc Revenue reporting and analysis as needed.
• Manage sales tax payable schedule for all states that collect sales tax by collaborating with FIGS Tax director and the 3 rd party sales tax preparer.
• Assist in the annual audit performed by external auditors by providing support for the selections made on key reports, control procedures.
• Create new fixed assets based on the company policy.
• Take ownership of cash transactions and other special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar
• In depth knowledge of US GAAP
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• Public Accounting and SOX 404 experience preferred.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in Cash GL account management, revenue related work, e-commerce preferred.
• NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
• Able to work with high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
• Strong teamwork and business partnering capabilities.
• Forward looking thinker who can articulate the need for and implement process improvements.
• Ability to leverage technology for efficient data gathering and analysis.

Pay Range

• At FIGS, your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. This role's base salary range is between $73,500 and $105,000. Actual base salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.
