JOB PURPOSE

To ensure that products are conforming with the agreed quality standards and non-compliances are dealt with effectively to avoid delays and shipment of defective products to the customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports the Team Leader in the daily activities within the Quality Control Department • Re-condition and/or re-process returned product from stores or product that failed vendor inspection
  • • Create a repair catalogue by taking before and after photos of repaired product • Ensure product presentation standards are followed when handling and repacking product
  • • Create repair Standard Operating Procedures along with videos to share with Global Teams • Provide weekly metrics on repaired/recovered product
  • • Manage the end-to-end repair process with third party vendors for quick turnaround of stock availability
  • • Partner with the Returns and Ecommerce Teams to educate on the level of repairs that can be fulfilled in hub
  • • Inspect finished product ensuring the required Burberry standards are met (clockwise inspection followed)
  • • Inspect incoming damages from retail stores, assess the quality level, and record detailed finding
  • • Assist in training new employees/cross functional departments on quality levels of acceptability
  • • Ensure repair supplies are stocked by completing weekly inventory and ordering
  • • Ensure repair equipment is maintained and functioning as expected
  • • Attend trainings to further expand repair capabilities and train the team on new techniques
  • • Ensure housekeeping is maintained daily
  • • Performs other duties as assigned


PERSONAL PROFILE

• Excellent attention to details with strong follow through

• Self-motivated, requiring little to no supervision

• Results driven and accountable

• Organized

• Previous experience with repair/reprocessing - hand/ sewing machine, using steamers/irons, garment stain removal

• Ability to fluently read, write and speak English

• Ability to work a flexible schedule /overtime as needed (before/after shift/weekends)

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
