Senior Manufacturing Excellence Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:
1. As a Manufacturing Excellence Senior Technician, you are in charge of evaluating and driving the improvement of manufacturing efficiency, productivity, reliability. You will need to collaborate with our industrialization teams, QA teams and the factories' production and QA/QC departments to improve the manufacturing process. You are responsible to initiative, align the best practices with another location teammates and proliferate the best practices amongst our factories in China.
2. A strong knowledge of Industrial Engineering and Footwear Manufacturing process is essential.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.Suppliers Manufacturing Process Improvement:
* Lead, manage and implement Optimization & Manufacturing excellence projects that deliver measurable contributions through increase in manufacturing efficiency, quality and speed. Embed Lean Manufacturing Principles in projects to enable sustainable improvements - implementing lean metrics tracking system.
* Enhance Industrial Engineering discipline to our manufacturing pool and work directly with vendors to improve manufacturing process generally.
* Help factories to set up production lines in a more efficient and adapted way for our brand needs.
* Take, align, and share the best practices amongst our Manufacturing Excellence function and vendors.

2. Collaboration between Technical Teams, Quality Team and Factories:
* Participate/facilitate regular cross-functional events at sourcing location to identify short term, mid-term, and long-term efficiency improvement opportunities.
* Ensure KPI data for Automation and other efficiency improvement initiatives is properly tracked and data made available.
* Collaborate with teams involved in production to ensure improvements are kept and implemented.
* Support to elevate the level of manufacturing knowledge of our production teams.
* Transfer knowledge into productivity improvement efforts across responsible factories.
* Deliver to the teams to the discipline of six sigma, lean manufacturing, industrial engineering etc. through the projects.

3. Next Generation Manufacturing & Digitalization:
* Implement new manufacturing technologies and practices; that bring competitive advantage to the PVH.
* Drive the Implementation of digitalization of our China suppliers.
* Drive productivity/efficiency optimization for cost reduction, production readiness with new standard method/process/tool with China vendors.
* Support our manufacturing partner to implement full traceability solutions.

Education & Experience:
1. University graduate in Industrial Engineering, manufacturing engineering or related field
2 .Min 5 years' experience Industrial engineering, Lean, Continuous Improvement and manufacturing engineering. Experience of international supplying chain and manufacturing is a must.

Skills:
1. Expert knowledge and experience in IE, Lean 6 Sigma practices and training techniques.
2. Self-motivated to manage the projects as the target set.
