JOB DUTIES: Staff Engineer, Integration Competency Center for Neiman Marcus Group LLC at its facilities located in Dallas, TX.The ICC Staff Engineer is a key contributor responsible for the design and development of integrations between on-premises legacy and cloud-based enterprise applications. Specifically, this role will become a part of and lead a team responsible for implementing integrations for our Core Systems including Order Management, Warehouse Management, Merchandising and Finance. Working with our product and technology owners, you will design and guide the implementation of integrations supporting the business capabilities that provide core functionality in running the NMG business. You will analyze business requirements and ensure that implemented integrations are secure and are effectively integrated into our technology eco-system. You will ensure that the technology solutions delivered are aligned to enterprise strategies and adhere to target reference architectures by applying sound architectural principles & best practices and following Neimans' IT governance processes and guidelines. This position is open to telecommuting.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science and Software Engineering or related technical degree. Experience must include seven (7) years post bachelor's progressive experience in IT systems as applied to system/application architecture, design, development, deployment, testing. Experience must also include four (4) years post bachelors progressive experience in all of the following: Programming experience in Informatica Powercenter 9.1 or IBM Integration Bus/Websphere Message Broker; Programming experience in Retail Merchandising System (RMS) 14.1, using the PO, Inventory, RESA and Item Create Modules; AWS Architect Certification; Programming experience using a serverless framework, Git, and Jenkins Pipelines to define and deploy resources into AWS environment; Iintegration, information mgmt., applications, business processes, and security, configuration & release management; SOA concepts and technologies, event driven and message-based architectures, file sharing and exchange platforms, data virtualization and caching strategies, API and Batch design patterns & frameworks, and microservice architectures; and Designing and integrating systems for high-performance: high throughput, high-availability, low latency. Experience must also include two (2) years post bachelors progressive experience in all of the following: Experience developing integrations using AWS resources: S3, Lambda, Cloudwatch; and Programming experience with Python 3 or NodeJS.
