JOB DUTIES: Sr. Analyst, Data for Neiman Marcus Group LLC at its facilities located in Dallas, TX. Key participant in helping to build a Data Driven Culture, have strong data mindset. Act as an SME for many compound systems (CMOS, RMS, OPD, WMS, EDW, Manhattan MAO & MAWM), provide guidance for reporting team during planning, development, and testing cycles. Design, develop and document robust requirements working with business, Deep dive to profile the data, transform them into Data mapping & KPIs and define scope for data engineering, data ingestion, BI engineering teams to ingest, dimensional model data, mockup design for visualizing data to meet business needs. Collaborating with DBAs, Data Engineers, Architects, and Subject area owners to create scalable data models suitable for reporting. Gathering and incorporating feedback from Product Owners, Data Architects, and Data Engineers to aid in the design of the Data Products. Guiding engineers in the best approach to building large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements. This position is open to telecommuting.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience must include five (5) years post bachelors progressive experience in all of the following: Experience in Order, Inventory & Warehouse management systems; Utilizing one or more of the following database platforms; Oracle, MySQL, Snowflake to query data directly for analysis and also using reporting tools: Tableau, Business Objects, Qlik Sense; Experience in Data Profiling, Data Analysis and transforming business requirements and break it down into data engineering, data ingestion, semantic layer and BI engineer scope of work; and Executing projects in an Agile environment working with cross functional teams.
