JOB DUTIES: Sr. Engineer, Tech Ops - Oracle Systems forNeiman Marcus Group at its facilities in Dallas, Texas. Duties: Utilize Oracle RMS, Oracle BI Publisher, Integration and Customization experience with Java ADF/JSF & Pro*C in Oracle retail. Utilize Oracle Retail Suite of applications, especially in retail related functions in ReSA and RMS. Lead engineering on Splunk, Dynatrace for alerting and process automation. Build automation using configuration management tools to Scale a project. Design monitoring solutions for the projects assigned for seamless tech & business KPI tracking. Work with Development team for items related to SRE (Store reliability engineering). Own the reporting and accountability of all Oracle Retail applications and numerous critical merchandising applications. Manage the development and deployment of all release management features for given applications. This position is open to telecommuting.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Applications or related . Experience must include five (5)+ years post bachelor's progressive experience in all of following areas: Development and support of Oracle Retail Applications including (RMS, RPM, and ReSa), SQL/PL SQL, proper query construction, DDL and DMLs; Oracle Retail Application production support, including triage, analysis, and incident management; ETL batch processing; ServiceNow and ITIL management. Experience must also include two (2) years post bachelors progressive experience in all of the following: In a service delivery role for application managed services; Operating in Agile ceremonies including writing and actioning stories in JIRA; Planning, testing, and executing upgrades to underlying RHEL infrastructure for Oracle Retail Applications.
