Director of Inventory Planning

FIGS is looking for a Director of Inventory Planning. The ideal candidate is passionate about data, analysis, product and profitability, while staying focused on broader trends. This position will report directly to the VP of Inventory Planning and partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Production, and Operations to deliver best-in-class inventory planning for FIGS and our healthcare community.

What you'll do:

• Lead, coach and inspire the inventory planning team
• Manage in season inventory, balance sales and margin goals and maintain OTB and inventory flow tools
• Project manage the rollout of processes and technology required to expand the FIGS portfolio into new markets and channels
• Drive allocation strategies and processes to achieve financial and inventory objectives
• Design and develop merchandising dashboards and detailed, segmented analysis to provide visibility for cross-functional decision making
• Be the Subject Matter Expert for production planning queries
• Ensure we have sufficient stock on hand to fulfill production plans, whilst remaining within the budgeted stock level

Essential Criteria:

• 10+ years' experience in a role focused on inventory planning (ideally in ecommerce)
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Extremely high attention to detail
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven track record in project management: ability to manage various projects while staying on-track with deliverables and communications
• Highly proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word) and Google Suite (Google Slides, Google Docs)
• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, or other related field preferred

Desirable Criteria:

• Proven track record of implementing inventory management software or processes
• Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Google Data Studio, etc.)

FIGS Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range

• At FIGS, your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. This role's base salary range is between $126,000 and $180,000. Actual base salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.
