Director, Treasury, PVH Asia Pacific

Position Summary:

The Director of Treasury, Asia Pacific will be lead overall treasury matters in the Asia Pacific Region for both Commercial and Supply Chain operations. This includes leading the day-to-day treasury operations for Asia Pacific while coordinating efforts with Corporate Treasury to ensure compliance with corporate-wide policies and procedures for securing, forecasting, investing, and managing cash and forex.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to the treasury management teams within various countries/markets in the region; responsible for coordinating treasury activities.
• Ensure corporate treasury goals and initiatives are implemented throughout the region; act as liaison between Corporate Treasury and all treasury units.
• Coordinate working capital needs with Corporate Treasury; ensure positive cash flow for the region and coordinate any borrowing needs, as applicable.
• Oversee and manage submission of various daily, weekly, and monthly reports and forecasts to Corporate Treasury; manage the flow of data back to Corporate Treasury for various reporting requirements.
• Be the local champion to work with Corporate Treasury on managing of a regional pooling bank structure and ensure the pooling structure meets corporate goals for cash consolidation.

• Manage regional banking relationships, including the opening, closing, and consolidation of bank accounts across the region; manage bank fees by ensuring that only active accounts are maintained while eliminating any inefficiencies; ensuring region is maximizing each bank's capabilities.
• Develop, implement, and monitor systems, policies, and procedures to efficiently and securely move funds within the region and to third parties; maintain and enforce proper internal controls throughout the region.
• Assist Corporate Treasury with regional compliance with FX hedging and cash investment policies.
• Management and settlement of various intercompany balances, loans, etc., and in coordination with Tax Department.
• Active role in supply chain finance functions. Act as liaison between corporate treasury and country level finance teams to implement a cash flow forecasting system, with the main objective of forecasting all short term collections and disbursements for the APAC region.
• Special projects and ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Experience: 10+ years in corporate banking/ treasury operations.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; MBA a plus; Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and/or CPA (or regional equivalents) are preferred

• Strong financial acumen; understanding of how businesses work. Ability to weigh financial risks and explore options suitable for different scenarios.
• Understands the principles of cash management, foreign exchange, hedging, investing and other treasury principles.
• Influential communicator, who collaborates and not afraid to make information-based decisions for the best interest of the Company
• Strong Excel competence; ability to capture data in various formats and comparisons, and to translate into reportable formats.
• Fluent in English, and preferred Mandarin and Cantonese language skills (Korean and Japanese will be an advantage but not a must); multicultural; comfortable working with people at all levels in all Asia Pacific cultures.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and interpretation of how Treasury activities impact Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements under US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
