Your Role:
As a member of the People Services Team, the LOA Administrator will serve as the subject matter expert on leave of absence responsible for administering and supporting the company's leave of absence and accommodations programs, including ADA, FMLA, and other personal leaves of absence. Effectively coordinating claims to include general administration, comprehensive claims management, and compliance. This role will serve as a liaison who processes leaves and provides timely notification and communication between associates, managers, and People Services Business Partners.

Your Role:
As a member of the People Services Team, the LOA Administrator will serve as the subject matter expert on leave of absence responsible for administering and supporting the company's leave of absence and accommodations programs, including ADA, FMLA, and other personal leaves of absence. Effectively coordinating claims to include general administration, comprehensive claims management, and compliance. This role will serve as a liaison who processes leaves and provides timely notification and communication between associates, managers, and People Services Business Partners.
What You'll Do:
- Coordinates and administers all associates leave programs including, but not limited to, FMLA, Non-FMLA, ADA, maternity or parental leave, medical or disability leave, military, etc. in compliance with Federal, State, and Statutory legislation.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for leave requests communicating directly with associates, third-party vendors and People Services Business Partners
- Counsels associates regarding leaves of absence, including leave policies, tracking, and change updates. If applicable, educate associates about benefits and pay continuation and assist with associates' return to work process or separation
- Partners closely with all People Services Operations, Legal, Associate Relations, Total Rewards, Payroll, PS Business Partners, and managers, where applicable, on all leave cases and workers' compensation claims. Meets regularly with PS Business Partners to review claims' status and develop strategies for resolution
- Maintain strong relationships with vendor partners (Absence Management and Disability-Matrix) and internal stakeholders to ensure processes are functionally integrated. Maintains all leave policies and facilitates updates as needed.
- Identify and propose processes to ensure the administration of leave programs is managed efficiently and effectively.
- Partners with internal teams to ensure the system of record requirements is updated by all leave policies and documentation is maintained and current for associated associates' leaves.
- Demonstrates proficient understanding of PS programs, policies, and benefit plans, to quickly resolve issues or concerns.
- Develops, generates, and maintains tracking reports to analyze leave data, identify trends, and deliver recommendations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
What You Bring:
- Exemplary customer service orientation, including demonstrated ability to lead self and a team that consistently
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of 2 to 4 years of experience in HR, Leave Management or Benefits
- Basic software applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet, Email).
- Experience using Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) software is preferred but not required
- Possesses solid working knowledge of the relevant subject matter. Strong knowledge of LOA practices and laws - United States.
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to build collaborative relationships at all levels within the organization. Superb People skills. Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Strong time management skills are required.
