Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our amazing Brooklyn-based team. Our company, Orseund Iris, is a rapidly growing online fashion e-commerce brand known for our unique, luxury apparel and accessories worn by influencers and celebrities around the world. We are seeking a highly organized, incredibly energized and detail-oriented fashion apparel Production Assistant to join our team.

As the Production Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the production team to ensure that our products are manufactured and delivered to the highest standard.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with production planning, scheduling, and coordinating with factories and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products
• Track and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, and place orders as needed
• Perform quality control checks on finished garments to ensure they meet our standards
• Assist in sample development and production testing
• Work with the production team to identify and troubleshoot any production issues
• Ensure that all production processes are in compliance with quality control standards and regulations
• Communicate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products
• Assist with administrative tasks such as maintaining production files, updating production reports, and preparing invoices
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and customer service, to resolve production issues and ensure customer satisfaction
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and identify opportunities to improve our production processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in fashion, business, or related field
• 0-2 years of experience in production or operations in the fashion industry
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficient in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of production processes, including sourcing, costing, and manufacturing
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask

Salary & Benefits:
