JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Executive's role is to:
  • Facilitate marketing initiatives and executions focusing on Asia wholesale markets and Travel Retail.
  • Work closely in partnership with internal teams - PR, VM, Buying, logistics, Wholesale and Travel Retail, to ensure marketing requests are well submitted, with assets delivery on a timely manner, that supports smooth and quality execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Advise partners on planning, developing and implementing launches per Asia campaign guideline, in alignment with global direction and strategy plan
  • Be the key contact of Asia Marcomm team with markets, as well as an internal voice to share initial thoughts and potential concerns on behalf of markets, to support Global/ Asia team to best anticipate their needs, thus put solution in plan
  • Support Regional Marketing Director on managing markets' brand calendar, 360 marketing plan and budget on an on-going basis


RESPONSIBILITIES

Seasonal Launch
  • Support Regional Marketing Director to cascade Global/ Asia seasonal planning direction and campaign focus to markets, and address any specific market needs and variances for alignment
  • Submit seasonal launch creative briefs to global team with clear and precise information per market request (i.e. marketing sites, retail advertising visual assets, digital ad assets, e-invites/ eDM, clientele message copies and collaterals)
  • Consolidate and follow up closely between global and markets on asset development questions and requests towards final delivery of assets
  • Co-ordinate with vendors on execution and production of marketing support materials for wholesale markets whenever necessary


In-store activations / Event execution
  • Partner with PR & Event team to provide advice and facilitation to markets on developing marketing ideas per Asia campaign guideline
  • Support operations coordination for all in-store and out-of-store marketing activations (i.e. Animations, In-mall marketing, Partnership)

Digital/ Social/ Online
  • Align, facilitate and monitor all digital brand communications against marketing message focus to ensure brand consistency across markets and channels for synergy effects
  • Drive Asia digital initiatives, optimise media investment and monitor digital budget committed by markets to build brand awareness, drive new customer reach and social follower growth
  • Complete the creative digital briefs to global on behalf of markets for all digital brand exposure, i.e. marketing sites, ecommerce sites, brand page, promotion assets, app banners, eDM
  • Be the timeline keeper for market requests and global deliveries, to ensure creative operations are best facilitated to achieve business efficiency

Budget / Expenses
  • Responsible for marketing / gifts order coordination, invoice submission and payments to Account
  • Update and submit budget tracker on a monthly basis to ensure accurate reflection of payments in budget
  • Review marketing investment mix of each touchpoints against total budget, and actual spending against sales targets to ensure

Reporting
  • Perform post campaign evaluation and recap on regional landscape for learning and evaluation
  • Compile monthly reports to analyse campaigns and evaluate market / activation success
  • Prepare presentation and marketing materials as needed


EDUCATION, PRIOR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED
  • University Graduate (Marketing / Business / Communication related disciplines)
  • 4+ years' experience in Marketing / Business Account servicing
  • An understanding of APAC Markets would be a plus, esp. Korea
  • Very high project management skills with ability to organize various information into aligned picture
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Independent, creative and highly attentive to details
  • Positive and out-spoken personality with can-do spirit
  • Fluent in spoken and written communications in English and Putonghua
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications
