POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Wholesales will develop and drive the strategic direction & commercial performance with wholesale and distributor partners, ensuring sell-in and sell-out targets are achieved; optimizing brand positioning; exercising discretion and sound judgment in the day-to-day management of sales and operations. Supporting areas of full-price & off-price distribution, market, strategic account development, merchandising, inventory, pricing, personnel management, visual merchandising, product training and other similar activities.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Working closely with VP of Sales, the role is a key contributor to driving opportunities for brand portfolio of categories in different markets and channels
- Lead and manage a team through effective leadership, mentorship and support
- Directly manage accounts and oversee brand portfolio of accounts in Americas
- Forge strong relationships with accounts at all levels to influence and optimize distribution, buy assortment and brand POS presence
- Responsible for examining the overall numbers, market trends, sales and inventory to strategize & develop ongoing business plans to achieve goals
- Negotiate OTB, business agreements, space locations, co-op advertising, VM activations with external partners
- Work closely with Director, FP&A on financial budgeting, forecasting, and planning of sales, inventory, dilutions, expenses
- Communicate and deliver business recaps and recommendations to VP of sales and other senior executives
- Partner with finance, logistics and order management teams to oversee and ensure timely deliveries and payment follow-ups
- Liaise with marketing on all marketing-related activities
- Work cohesively with DTC to align on merchandising, inventory movement, shipping priorities, promotional cadence
- Participate in and oversee team’s involvement in trainings, store visits, events, client meetings
- Accountable for planning, organizing, and executing seasonal markets (virtual and showroom). Sell the collections, with wholesale team, to all current and potential wholesale accounts in market (4 per year)
- Ownership of inventory management – maximize ATS sales in-season and off-season through full-price and off-price channels respectively
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Education: 4 Year college degree
- Minimum Years of Experience: 8-10+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years managing a team
- Travel may be required
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Proficiency in Excel
- Systems knowledge of NuORDER, Joor, Skypad, or similar platforms
- US, Canada, Latin America market expertise in competitive landscape, trends, demographics, economics
- Strategic, analytical & data driven. Advanced experience in financial & data modeling and retail performance metrics (retail math)
- Ideally, strong relationships at all levels (merchants to most senior level) with relevant key accounts & specialty stores
- Excellent communication, presentation & interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, solutions-oriented, operational-efficient
- Strong attention to details, processes & deadlines
- Passion for the brand and actively follow fashion industry and trends
- Selling and/or buying experience in fashion Womenswear, Menswear, Accessories, Bodywear

In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the potential salary for this position is from $140,000 to $155,000, which represents a range commensurate with experience, knowledge, and skills required.
