Position Overview
Responsible for ensuring design aesthetic in initial product development. Partner with NY Design, creating sketches and Ideas Product Development and Production to execute strategy of product with a focus in skins, shearlings and furs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Contributes to defining the style and arrangement of the collection in relation to the brand aesthetic and image and the current market trends from creation of styles to preparation of the prototype and sample collection, in close association with Design, Product Technicians, Industrialization, Product Development, Pattern Makers and Production. Key Accountabilities: · Conduct pre-seasonal luxury Women's Collection market research in partners with NY Design · Partner with key vendors to identify new techniques, proportions, and applications for skin, shearling and fur products · Develop pre-seasonal product concepts based on Design direction - partner with product sr. technical team in muslin / 1st proto creation · Support sr. design decision making in terms of proto sample approval · Attend proto sample (muslin) / first proto fittings · Liaise with local office team to keep all relevant development stages transparent and tangible and integrated in the overall luxury women's product development cycle, in congruency to sample calendar and seasonal overall regional objectives · Support and conduct industrialization approval process for relevant product categories · Ensure consistency between sampling and production for relevant product categories
