The Director of Desktop & Mobile Engineering and Experience is responsible for growing, upskilling and leading a globally diverse team of engineers and application specialists in designing, configuring, and maintaining our associate facing computing environment. The Director create a strategy that helps to shape PVH's global Workplace technologies. In addition, this leader will manage our workspace landscape as a supporting service. The right candidate will maintain, support, measure, recommend and own action for the area. This role is responsible for evolving PVH's future device strategies. This role must have prior background developing global device and workplace strategies, implementing and supporting Microsoft 365, Intune/SCCM/JAMF, and has a deep passion for modernizing the workforce.

Our ideal candidate comes with a prior knowledge and experience evaluating and evolving global teams surrounding Mobile and Desktop Engineering. Our leader will also direct the execution or workplace technology strategies and recommend/operationalize plans that drive financial revenue growth and/or optimization of investments and SG&A.

Position Responsibilities/Accountabilities of the Job:
  • Develop, define, measure, & execute a strategy surrounding Workforce Technologies, Mobile Technologies, hardware, device management, and virtualization
  • Develop and manage a global team of engineers and support staff across three continents
  • Provide recommendation on workplace technology programs to senior management
  • Make critical end user computing decisions that impact a global associate landscape
  • Own the budget and financial management for Desktop/Mobile Engineering
  • Form and direct a modern mobile strategy for PVH
  • Lead the creation of a Workplace Technology program to modernize PVH's workplace
  • Coordinate and direct the design, build, deployment and maintenance of personal computer operating system images, virtual desktops, and other application delivery platforms. A strong focus on Autopilot or other automated imaging solutions
  • Provide strategic and tactical device management recommendations
  • Establish operating models that maintain system platforms required to support the end user computing environment such as Intune/SCCM and JAMF. Deep knowledge of MAC management in Microsoft 365 are needed
  • Coordinate efforts with IT Security to develop and maintain a strong security posture on our end user devices leveraging GPOs, Intune, Defender, and ATP
  • Evolve and Manage a VDI environment to support a remote workforce
  • Direct and participate in the design and implementation of software deployment packages and scripts to ensure timely, consistent and successful deployment of new and updated software installations
  • Responsible for developing a strategic roadmap bridging technologies in alignment with business needs
  • Coordinate and assist with day to day operational activities such as patching, application packaging and troubleshooting issues
  • Coach, mentor and develop skills and capabilities of team members to build a cohesive and collaborative team
  • Establish and build strong working relations and partnerships with Business Units to help improve the end user experience
  • Ongoing evaluation, selection and effective use of deployment tools/systems
  • Serves as focal point of communication for major service outages/escalations
  • Comply with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and/or administrative activities at the company


Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Bachelors Degree Required

Experience:
  • 1 0-15 years demonstrable experience creating and executing a strategy surrounding Microsoft Windows/365 and MAC based operating systems.
  • Proven methods to organize global teams and develop critical skills and competencies within managed teams.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft 365.
  • Strong working knowledge of application and image deployment tools such as SCCM, Intune and Autopilot.
  • Deep knowledge of Enterprise IOS management for Corporate and BYOD
  • Extensive knowledge on security tools Knowledge of Citrix, Microsoft and other virtualization software Knowledge of Desktop application Packaging

  • Strategic thinking; Applies organizational acumen to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization
  • O365 Administrator or higher preferred
  • Intune or other Certifications a plus
  • Experience with Anti-spy-ware solution
  • ITIL or formal Service management training
