Position Overview
The Manager, Creative Logistics, is responsible for ensuring Creative/NSO operational efficiency across APAC regional. Manage end to end Logistics flow for creative and decorative operation. Manage creative and decorative props warehouse in HK, China, TW, SG, MY and ANZ to ensure best in class operation and inventory management. He/she will ensure the alignment of Creative Logistics activities with RL's business objectives and work closely with all internal and external business functions to jointly establish optimum results.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Manage creative inventory (i.e. mannequins, furniture, artwork, silk flowers, lightings, vases & etc) in the regional storage points with main hub based in Hong Kong & Shanghai and other storage location in TW, SG, MY, ANZ and etc
* Daily operation and relationships of all third party storage location, & distribution centers servicing the regional market
* Communicate at all levels between RL team members & service providers
* Identify priorities to 3PL to ensure overall RL service level is aligned to business needs
* Store open project management to make sure visual merchandise & decorative package schedule align to the master new store open plan for the region
* New store open on-site support and preparation, coordinate with difference functional team to organize deco, mannequin, window props and merchandising tools in-store and installation schedule
* Monitor creative supply chain budget & expenses to make sure activities and spending are align with budget
* Maintain 3PL scorecards to ensure high levels of service are being provided by 3PL service providers & to ensure that RL's expectations are clearly defined and understood by all 3PL service providers
* 3PL performance management and KPI review
* Ensure written procedures documenting various processes are maintained & followed
* Play a key role in the implementation, and management of initiatives and other Logistics projects to improve efficiencies, thus reducing and optimizing overall expense
* Assist in the short term business plans that will ensure RL's distribution network is leading edge and prepared for future growth opportunities in the supply chain
* Work with the 3PL, where appropriate, to ensure warehouse and transportation process meet the agreed RL specification
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
* University graduate or equivalent
* Excellent interpersonal skill with proficient spoken and written English and Mandarin
* Strong PC skills, expertise with Windows, MS Office, Excel and WMS applications
* Self-motivated, well organized, with strong analytical mind and numerical sense
* At least five years work experience in an operations role for a similar organization
* Familiar with APAC trade & regulatory compliance is preferred
* Detail orientated
* Willing to travel
* Reliable and trustworthy
* Independent and able to work under pressure
