JOB PURPOSE          


The role of Vendor Manager, Cost Governance e Procurement Excellence will report directly to the Head of Indirect Procurement.





  • Manages registration and qualification processes for vendors and assesses their business capabilities.

  • Handles registration requests and evaluates vendor qualification requests by verifying the information and documentation provided

  • Maintains the vendor list and takes action to ensure a consistent vendor base capable of meeting the company's needs

  • Addresses possible improvement plans for strategic vendors

  • Defines strategic KPIs and monitors vendor performance in order to prevent any critical issues

  • Oversees the rationalization of the vendor base and prepares monitoring reports

  • Cooperates with the controlling team for cost allocation (identification and allocation of costs to activities, projects, investments or any other cost item)

  • Supports general accounting processes by ensuring correctness, completeness and transparency of information

  • Regularly analyses the progress of spending against predefined budget constraints supporting the planning of initiatives for continuous improvement of purchasing processes

  • Supports the planning of saving initiatives and monitors their periodic progress by interfacing with key company stakeholders

  • Monitors domestic demand and if necessary, modifies purchasing plans in case of considerable changes

  • Prepares continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes

  • Prepares data analysis and specific reports on request of the Head of Indirect Procurement

  • Reports periodically to the Head of Indirect Procurement the results of KPI monitoring and relevant action plans for the achievement of industrial goals





Degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering or Management

+7 years of experience in Procurement preferably in the fashion industry, in management consulting, operations, logistics or business management.

Excellent operational planning skills

Excellent analytical and organizational skills

Very good knowledge of active/passive cycle processes

Very good strategic and operational planning skills

Knowledge of accounting, finance and controlling standards

Knowledge of planning, forecasting, budgeting and reporting

Attention to detail, problem-solving ability with creative and innovative ideas.

Proactivity, curiosity and a focus on identifying new business opportunities in a timely fashion

Expert in IT tools and systems (ERP SAP, eProcurement platforms, MS Office, etc.)

Very good project management, business planning and problem-solving skill
