Job Title: Planner, Retail Lifestyle Licensed Categories

Primary Purpose : The Planner for Retail Lifestyle in Merchandise Planning will analytically support the formulation of the global assortment and the phases of product life cycle (preseason product line planning and in-season trend analysis). The position will partner with merchandising and business units to set and ensure growth targets are achieved, and support buying for its categories. This position will report to the Manager of Retail Ready to Wear and Licensed.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Merchandise Planning to...

  • Analyze and identify global and regional product trends, through key weekly reporting
  • Continuously leverage analysis, product trends, and productivity to inform global plans and assortments
  • Provide seasonal, global financial framework for licensed accessories assortment
  • Provide global and business unit product lifecycle guidance
  • Forecast new trends and study sales history to make focused investments and sound sales plans
  • Drive global investments against key product strategies across markets, leveraging strong business partnerships to maximize sales opportunities, while maintaining global message
  • Conduct Seasonal Sales Plan and Open to Buy reviews with global and business unit partners, highlighting sales and investment strategies
  • Anticipate Open to Buy needs to support seasonal newness investment, collaborating with business unit buying partners and global inventory management team
  • Manage direct channel Open to Buy by anticipating Open to Buy needs to support seasonal newness investment, in collaboration with business unit buying and inventory management team
  • Serve as a thought partner to business units on promotional and mark down recommendations
  • Action on shipment re-routing, BU inventory sharing, and global chase opportunities based on reads on sales
  • Foster effective teamwork and communication with key business partners (i.e., Global Merchandising, Business Unit buying teams, Product Development, Planning & Logistics)
  • Effectively prioritize and coordinate deadlines with cross-functional partners

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, finance, or similar field preferrd
