Accountant (Korean speaking)

A great opportunity for a highly motivated individual to take on a new role in the Hong Kong Shared Services Center, report directly to the Korea Accounting & Reporting Manager.

Closing & Reporting for Korea Market

·Support timely financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations of cash, other assets and other liabilities

·Perform daily accounting and bookkeeping duties including general ledger account reconciliations, accurate reporting

·Support external/internal audit and CTR filing

·Assist and advise Korea market and support functions on the appropriate accounting treatment of transactions

·Assist in the assigned ad hoc tasks

Functional GL Accounting for Asia markets

•Create and maintain Fixed Asset data in Fixed Asset ledger in accordance with Fixed Asset policy

•Record and analyze depreciation expense

•Reconcile Fixed Asset ledger to General Ledger

•Lease accounting according to the IFRS 16

•Record Accrued expenses and perform Balance sheet reconciliation for Accrued expenses

Qualifications

• •Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent professional qualification
  
  •Minimum 4 years of working experience in finance & accounting from Multinational companies
  
  •Familiar with MS Excel and ERP system - Experiences of Coupa, Concur and JDE E1 preferred
  
  •Strong sense of responsibility, self-initiated, well organized, able to work independently and under pressure with tight deadlines
  
  •Good command of both written and spoken Korean and English
  
  •CPA or equivalent license preferred
