POSTION SUMMARY:

Own technical development on assigned styles, collaborate with Global technical teams and Hub cross functional partners. Ensure consistency of fit across all collections.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

Organize live model fitting and ensure the product are developed consistent with established fit and quality standards, manufacturer's capabilities and cost specification.
Responsible for managing sample comment following time and action calendar in the process.
Create product technical packages in development stage to communicate requirements for fit and construction.
Communication between Commercial team & Vendors on technical issues and provide professional support.
Monitor supplier's sample submission to achieve standard requirement.
Provide training and accredit Factory Certified Fit Technicians, evaluate and monitor their performance.
Ability to evaluate garment construction and quality to identify possible risk and testing required, able to provide alternative suggestion to eliminate risk.
Initiate and lead technical projects to build strong data base and standard to drive consistency.
Proactively support on ad-hoc tasks.
Travel to Factory when needed.

Utilize different kind of computer software or system to increase efficiency and productivity.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education & Experience:

Diploma or above in Technical Design, Fashion/Clothing Studies or equivalent.
At least 10 years working experience of Garment Tech field.

Skills:

Strong technical skills and excellent knowledge of garment fitting on live model / mannequin, grading, construction, workmanship and manufacturing processes.
Computer proficient, literate in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook), PLM, and willing to learn new systems.
Knowledge of 2D Cad system or 3D Sample system would be an advantage.
Good communication skill, open minded, positive with solution focus attitude.
Good in written/spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Able to work independently also as a team player.
Able to work under pressure, self-motivated, result oriented, responsive and detail minded.
