Oversight of Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand with the support of local FP&A team. Reporting to the Director, Finance South Asia Pacific, the Finance Manager will lead all activities related to strategic planning and analysis, management reporting and forecasting, controls and compliance and support the business on initiatives, allowing us to meet our strategic goals.

Immerse yourself as a key finance business partner to the SEA markets through close partnership with Retail Leaders and Accounting Shared Service Team. Oversight of Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand with the support of local FP&A team. Reporting to the Director, Finance South Asia Pacific, the Finance Manager will lead all activities related to strategic planning and analysis, management reporting and forecasting, controls and compliance and support the business on initiatives, allowing us to meet our strategic goals.
Responsibilities

- Assume responsibility for all aspects of financial direction and compliance of the Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand business.
- Lead the strategic planning and forecasting process in partnership with Retail and Functional leaders.
- Drive improvements in P&L, regularly review business profitability and trending vs annual budget and provide recommendations to Executive and Local Management team as appropriate.
- Ensure that all period-end and reporting processes are robust and guarantee the integrity of the information to the parent company and external parties, such as Audit, Tax and other local authorities.
- Key business partner to Market Leaders on leasing matters and proactively involved in legal documents review and address potential risk if any.
- Ensure that Finance is at all times closely integrated with and positively supports the business, providing managers at all levels with the necessary information to maximize sales, profitability and efficiency.
- Drive the Finance team out into the Business to work as value-added partners with retail leadership.

- Set the right tone of compliance and governance throughout the company at all levels, and ensure the development and management of strong controls, designed to support and safeguard the business (Internal Control)

Qualifications
- Degree holder in Accounting / Finance with international accounting qualification
- 8-12+ years of working experience with +3 years of managerial experience
- Luxury retail experience
- Excellent analytical and mathematical acumen. Proficient with mathematical modeling techniques for scenario testing and goal setting
- Good interpersonal skill, team player, self-motivated and analytical mind
- Strong project focus including attention to detail and consistent follow-through
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- High level of self-management and ability to function amidst tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Ability to prioritize and work in a highly dynamic, fast paced and team-oriented environment.
- Ability to:
- Extract complex data and analyze it to monitor business performance and identify trends
- Translate operational metrics into financial performance
- Present ad hoc and formal presentations to Executive audience
- Ability to coach and develop team
- Strong Microsoft Word, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

- Experience with Business Objects and Hyperion
- MBA or advanced degree
