Job Purpose

Burberry is looking for a talented, hard-working and self-motivated creative to join the Beauty Art Direction team. This role is responsible for working collaborative with cross-functional team members and mentoring junior members of staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Creative Director, in collaboration with the wider creative team to develop and define the new brand voice.
  • Challenge and question old ways, come up with fresh new bold ideas to approach projects in a new perspective.
  • Consistently seek to push the boundaries of creative in terms of platform innovation and storytelling.
  • Responsible for overseeing and shaping projects from inception through to delivery.
  • Following a brief, and developing concepts from sketch and mood board phase.
  • Constantly create and deliver presentations to the highest standards.
  • Deliver projects with conviction to a range of stakeholders including the Creative Director.
  • Work across photo shoots and productions.
  • Liaise with the wider Creative Media and Licensing team to ensure content is used effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider marketing team, including marketing strategy, project management and creative leads in media to ensure content is used effectively.
  • Collaborate with production and post-production teams, ensuring that timelines are met.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers, partners and agencies to ensure consistent quality.
  • Remain up to date with the luxury / beauty market, digital innovation and creative landscape.

Team management and responsibility
  • Inspire, mentor and challenge Junior Art Directors whilst providing support and leadership.
  • Whilst striving for creativity and innovation, aim to be mindful of business needs from responding accordingly to marketing strategy and plans with a sensibility to budget and timings.

Measures of Success
  • Deliver creative ideas in line with the brief.
  • Deliver projects with conviction to a range of stakeholders.
  • Deliver creative ideas in innovative new formats and media.
  • Execute projects end-to-end to the highest standard, in time and budget.
