JOB PURPOSE

As a HR Generalist at Burberry, you will be supporting the Italian HR team in all aspects of HR administration, providing accurate and efficient HR support to our Italian teams across corporate and manufacturing and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

This role as a HR Generalist is offered on a 6 month FTC basic. We operate a hybrid working model, with 2/3 days per week (depending on business requirements) from our offices in Scandicci and the remainder from home.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acting as the first point of contact for all HR queries, from line managers, employees and our Employee Services team in the UK
  • Owning data analysis and reporting through SAP SuccessFactors and Excel, pulling data and information from our internal systems to analyse and present in MI packs
  • Administration of payroll and employee data across the whole employee lifecycle, from starters, leavers, absence and change
  • Partnering with Talent Acquisition around potential hiring, including offer letters and contracts, reference requests, new starter paperwork and onboarding
  • Supporting the HR Manager and line managers in investigations, disciplinary and outcome processes, including gathering evidence, preparing for interviews, taking notes and formal outcome letters


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Practical experience in a HR Administrator/Advisory role
  • HR data analysis and reporting experience would be highly beneficial
  • Knowledge of Italian employment legislations and labor market
  • Fluent in both Italian and English, written and spoken
  • Exceptional communicator, able to advise across all levels of seniority and associated HR knowledge
  • Good organisation and prioritisation skills alongside high attention to detail
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office/Office 365, specifically Excel
  • Experience using SAP SuccessFactors, Kronos or similar HRIS/payroll systems advantageous
