This is an exciting opportunity to join the Digital Marketing team at Next Head Office in Enderby as an Email Digital Designer, driving our eCRM programme here in the UK and International markets.

As one of our Digital Designers for email you will deliver the design, build and artworking of International emails, occasionally supporting the UK market too.

We're looking for someone who has previous experience working within a similar Design role, as you will be responsible for developing innovative and responsive creative solutions for our email marketing programs, journeys and campaigns.

You will ensure we present our propositions and messages in an engaging way to capture customer interest & interaction and will help us leverage the power of our customer data platform - Bloomreach. The ideal candidate for this role will be ambitious, proactive, and eager to build a successful career within the Digital team.

This position is a 12 month FTC.

About the role
  • You will lead on designing and delivering new email projects, working collaboratively within the Marketing Team.
  • You will also work with broader areas of the business including Online Trading, Credit/Services and Brand Marketing teams, as well as other creative teams.
  • This role is for someone who can design and artwork at volume and at pace, whilst working to tight deadlines and maintaining a high standard of detail.
  • Create complex HTML email builds for innovative highly personalised data driven emails.
  • Regularly present new campaigns and design ideas to key stakeholders.
  • Leading new innovative email campaign projects from start to finish - design concepts to build.
  • Artworking weekly assets for BAU emails sends.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of briefs from you.

About you
  • Previous experience in a Digital Design role.
  • Proficient using industry-standard tools such as Sketch, Figma and Adobe CC.
  • Strong technical knowledge and confidence using Dreamweaver and HTML coding.
  • The ability to pick up new skills and systems quickly.
  • Meticulous attention to detail when completing work.
  • A proactive self-starter who is used to working in a fast paced and highly reactive manner.
  • A confident and concise communicator.
  • Effective team player with the ability to self-manage workload and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Strong portfolio of work demonstrating expertise in designing email content.
  • The ability to concept and collaborate with creative teams.
