Joining our team as a Middleweight Digital Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and evolving the creative direction of advertising for both Next & Joules. Located in Leicester, London, or Manchester, and reporting to the Lead Designer, you will conceptualise and deliver market-leading designs across various paid digital channels with your knowledge of the latest creative and cultural trends.

We can offer hybrid working with part of the week working at our offices in Leicester, London or Manchester and part of the week working remotely.

As a part of the team you will be:

• Designing for a diverse range of business areas and campaigns for Joules and Next, for on-site content, social media and paid advertising campaigns.
• Comfortable exploring creative layout/strategy options across multiple channels.
• Working with multiple teams to understand their requirements for the brief, showcasing your ideas.
• Collaborating with marketing, copy & trading teams to produce high quality assets for social channels, display, emails and more.
• Playing a key role at every stage of the design process, from initial concept to execution.
• Supporting the campaign and marketing teams to deliver marketing leading digital marketing campaigns.
• Animation and film editing will be highly beneficial.
• Collaborating with the wider Design team to ensure brand fluidity in each project.
• Researching current design trends, innovating and experimenting with ideas.

• Do you have an impressive portfolio from a previous role?
• Are you comfortable with Figma (or Sketch)?
• Do you have exceptional knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop etc.)?
• Do you have a genuine interest in retail and fashion?
• Do you have a solid understanding and genuine appreciation of digital design, typography, composition, marketing and animation?
• Can you create graphics for full videos, animations, and graphic overlays, from concept to execution?
• Can you collaborate with the team on ideas and storyboards, and present those concepts to internal teams and Managers/Directors?
• Are you comfortable with advertising specifications across multiple Social Media & Display platforms?
• Can you consistently produce and deliver creative work that reflects and enhances the Next & Joules brand?
• Can you work flexibly and resiliently across a wide number of briefs?
