The Role...

Reporting to the Label Operations Manager (Imagery), you will be responsible for managing the intake and processing of all images through our upload system from new and existing brands. Working closely with the wider operations team, and buying and merchandising teams, you will help them guide our brands through our processes and ensure all images meet our specifications.

As part of the role, you will lead the relationship with our service provider in India to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. It's important that the correct images are uploaded quickly to ensure that items go live as soon as the stock is available and showcase the product effectively to our customers.

Responsibilities...
  • Plan for and lead the intake of images from our brands for all new product launches
  • Manage the resolution of issues with images provided by our brands
  • Management of relationship with our service provider in India to ensure an efficient, productive & collaborative working relationship is maintained for both parties
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to improve internal and external business processes and support efficiencies cross functionally
  • Understand and develop information on requirements, volumes and service levels to recognise and react to trends and manage peaks
  • Build relationships and work cross-functionally with key stakeholders across the business, while both learning and developing how we manage the flow of images and other assets
  • Ensure the highest quality of process documentation is produced and maintained for our internal teams and external brands
  • Contribute to a culture across the department that puts the needs of our brands and customers at the forefront of everything we do
  • Carry out regular reviews and performance development plans with direct reports
  • Shares business knowledge quickly to ensure the team are able to be fully effective and understand priorities to be achieved and encourage an environment of trust and openness
  • Manage meetings and external reviews, also deputising for the Label Operations Manager (Imagery) when required


Projects, Challenges and Additional Accountabilities

You will be involved in key projects integral to the growth of our Label department where you need to lead from inception to completion. An example will be designing, implementing and improving a workflow for adding extra images online. Being mindful of key website metrics, having a full set of images and improving availability of additional assets (such as videos, customer reviews) is key to optimising the online shopping experience for our website customers.
