The Manufacturing Quality Assurance Engineer will work to ensure products and processes within internal manufacturing are capable of meeting or exceeding Tiffany standards. The Quality Engineer will work with all functional teams and provide actionable information that will drive continuous improvement for the facilities Key Performance Indicators.

The hiring range for this position ranges from $81,515.00 - $110,285.00. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience.

Key Accountabilities
- Drive Quality Assurance Activities within internal Manufacturing
- Move the team from quality inspection to quality assurance by implementing layered process, system and product audits
- Determine appropriate layered audit program by reviewing failure data and identifying the applicable processes to be audited
- Utilize results of quality assurance audits to drive change by identifying system breakdowns and working with the appropriate teams to continuously improve performance
- Support Supplier Quality Assurance Group as it pertains to internal manufacturing
- Support Supplier Quality Assurance by incorporating layered audits specifically aimed at critical suppliers
- Be impactful when working with team members of varying experience, skills and position within the organization. Leverage your experience to lead the team in the use of appropriate tools and fundamental problem solving
- Capable of collecting and analyzing data to help drive root cause (Familiar with various data collection tools - micrometers, Tensile and elongation)
- Provide support to New Product Development
- Help to define workmanship standards ensuring process limitations are taken into consideration
- Support development of requirements documentation for new product
- Support the validation of production test runs
Required Qualifications
- BS in Engineering - Industrial Engineer or similar field (Experience will be evaluated in place of degree)
- 3+ years in Quality Assurance
- Knowledge and practical experience in conducting surveillance audits
- Practical knowledge and experience in leading containment and root cause activities
- Capable of collecting and analyzing data to help drive root cause (Familiar with various data collection tools - micrometers, Tensile and elongation, vision etc.)
- Has worked in a high mix environment with a broad supplier based
- Proficient in English; written and oral (Spanish would be an extra benefit)
- Proficient in MS Office tools, Minitab or similar stats tool, reading Prints / CAD / 3d Models
Preferred Qualifications
- ASQ Quality Engineer Certification
- Experience in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
