As a Senior Planner, you will be working closely with the Buying & Design team to provide in-depth analysis to help execute merchandise strategies within a designated category to grow its volume and productivity. This individual will generate reports and present actionable insights and recommendations based on timely data-driven hind-sights and comprehensive market trend research to enhance category performance.


  • Collect, analyze, and interpret retail data from various sources to determine factors impacting category performance
  • Identify patterns and anomalies in the data to derive meaningful insights and recommendations for increased productivity
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities
  • Develop assortment plans from all analytics from above points, with consideration of seasonality, target audience, and brand positioning
  • Determine, propose & execute optimal product mix, styles, colors, and sizes within a category • Conduct demand forecasting to optimize inventory levels and minimize stock-outs or excess inventory
  • Track all category performances mid and post season to report to Buying and Design to action on future product strategies
  • Create visually appealing and easy-to-understand dashboards, charts, and reports to communicate insights and recommendations effectively to cross-functional partners


  • The position will be considered full time in Los Angeles and will be expected to work Monday-Friday in-office


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in Planning, Merchandising, or related roles in the apparel industry
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Gsheet, and other data analysis tools 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • A passion for streetwear fashion and an understanding of the target audience
  • Full Circle, Shopify, and Google Analytics knowledge a plus
