Manager, Visual Merchandising Production & Procurement, Calvin Klein Asia Pacific

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Regional Production & VM Procurement Manager, you will be responsible to drive creative VM solutions (as well as to adapt from global creative vision) for 2D & 3D strategies from In store solutions across multi channels (Retail, Wholesale and Outlet and showrooms) as well as multi environments (PR events, Market weeks, Seasonal events and Retail Marketing activations), focusing in ALL our Businesses (CKJ, CKJA, CKU, CKP, CK Sportswear, CK Menswear and Womenswear). The main goal, is to drive consistency on the way that we present our brand to consumers via Seasonal and Evergreen direction while finding the best processes, vendors and costs, aligning with cross functional partners and looking for a balance between Business goals and Brand look & feel including Licensees (for third party products).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

• Lead the team on selecting the best vendor network and align processes to achieve efficiencies in cost and developments for the region.
• Identify and prioritize market opportunities and projects to procure /compile creative and aesthetic elements to enhance a 360-brand experience.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams across APAC in dealing with contractors /suppliers to follow up on instore mockup execution / display props prototype / VM tools development as well as elements for multi environments (PR Events, showrooms, Retail Marketing activations and so on).
• Detail knowledge in production and technical management for large-scale corporate events, pop up and windows productions.
• Manages visual execution to markets across Asia Pacific with production houses and agency from design development to production and execution (including landlord and venue management, construction drawings and technical planning)
• Monitor department budget and streamline processes to maximize efficiency and cost savings as well as provide project management and administrative support such as logistic arrangements.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop guidelines for Seasonal and Evergreen & VM Tools to align both merchandising and VM Strategies for final execution in markets.
• Work closely with Regional and Local internal teams and departments on all brand execution.
• Passionate about retail trends and new ideas and enthused to inspire new ideas, processes and technologies by thinking outside the box while enhancing Calvin Klein's brand code.

Direct: 1 Senior Visual Merchandiser

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Experience & Education: University graduate or equivalent in Visual Merchandising Design / Design / Graphic Design/ Industrial Design, Fashion Retail, or at least 8 years of VM experiences as equivalent

Skills:

• Clear understanding on Local and Global Fashion trends, VM competitors and inspirational references
• Strong sense in styling & colors, outfit co-ordination, floor merchandising, fashion & trends
• Detailed- minded, independent & presentable; able to prioritize job tasks in tight timeline & organized manner
• Good verbal and written communication in English and Cantonese
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Office.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Platform (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design) and 3D Software such as Sketchup, AutoCAD and 3D Max.
• Good communications and interpersonal skills
