RCA has a great opportunity available for an experienced Specialist Technical Instructor in Fashion. You will be a passionate and creative individual with an interest and enthusiasm for fashion, contemporary art, design, and culture.

You will take the lead in ensuring the effective provision and availability of specialist equipment and work areas in order to facilitate academic delivery, student learning, research and knowledge exchange activities. Supporting the Technical Lead in Fashion, you will provide highly skilled technical assistance, guidance, technical instruction, and digital services to students and staff, demonstrating equipment and processes as appropriate. Skilled with a thirst for knowledge, you will possess a willingness to undergo training to achieve the required skill base.

Our ideal candidate has significant experience in high-end fashion pattern-cutting and garment making, as well as highly skilled specialist knowledge in menswear and tailoring. You will have great time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and organize complex demands/tasks. You will pride yourself on your excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
