John Galliano was named Creative Director of the house in 2014, bringing his sense of spectacle and creative mastery to the unique ethos of Maison Margiela. Whilst developing his own vision for the house, John Galliano has entirely respected the Martin Margiela state of mind, creating a fascinating organic process.
In 2002, the French house became part of OTB. Along with sister brands of the group, Maison Margiela continues pushing the boundaries of modern fashion while preserving its distinctive identity and heritage.
Job mission
To lead our payroll functions, ensure our payroll expenses and taxes are paid correctly and on time, supervise our payroll team and liaise with other professionals and to ensure our payroll procedures are compliant, efficient and current.

Job responsibilities and activities
The Payroll Manager will be responsible of all French companies of the Group OTB and has the following main responsibilities:
- Manage systems to process payroll account transactions (e.g. salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes and third party payments)
- Coordinate timekeeping and payroll systems
- Oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades
- Implement new tools related to Payroll system
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
- Supervise and coach payroll specialists and assistants
- Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits
- Collaborate with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teams
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports
- Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions
Skills and experience
- Proven experience as a payroll manager or similar role
- Current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws
- Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes
- Familiarity with payroll software/ HRIS (e.g. Success Factor, ADP) and MS Office (especially Excel)
- A keen eye for detail
- Outstanding communication skills (written and oral)
- Organizational and leadership skills
- BSc/BA in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources or related field; professional certification (e.g. CPP, CPM) is a plusOutstanding communication skills
- English is mandatory
- Knowledge in the Couture Parisienne is a plus
