Position Overview
Ralph Lauren is seeking to appoint a paralegal to support the APAC Legal Department, with a particular focus on real estate, corporate and commercial matters. Reporting to the Lead Counsel, Real Estate, APAC, the role will be based at the regional office in Hong Kong.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities: · Provide support to Ralph Lauren's internal lawyers, with a particular focus on real estate, corporate and commercial matters · Assist internal lawyers with the review of lease agreements and other simple commercial agreements · Manage corporate secretarial matters (including managing statutory filings, preparing resolutions) for various entities around APAC · Conduct research relating to various jurisdictions · Assist with administrative work, including organizing and maintaining the Legal Department files · Manage the documentation execution process, including compliance with internal policy, arranging notarization, legalization and other formalities · Undertake any ad hoc projects and assignments as required
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Requirements: · Bachelor degree or diploma in law (bachelor degree in any other relevant discipline will also be considered) · Minimum 3 years' experience (preferably in-house at a company) in a paralegal or legal executive role · Good experience in real estate, corporate and commercial matters · Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese, both written and spoken · Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment · Ability to work independently · Good drafting, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills We offer a collegial working environment and an attractive remuneration package and career prospects for the right candidate.
