Position Overview
The FP&A Analyst is responsible for supporting the FP&A Manager during the P&L consolidation for the Wholesale channel in EMEA.This position reports directly to the FP&A Manager, Wholesale and will work together with key business partners to support the group's baseline financial operations including support for divisional budgeting/long range planning, monthly forecasting, monthly financial close and reporting processes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Support FP&A Manager during month end close, forecast, and budget, perform P&L variance analysis on Sales and Margin, understand variances and communicate conclusions. · Ensure accuracy of accounting entries performed by the Accounting team during Month End close. · Preparation of all internal financial reporting and management packs (analysis by brand, product category, country, season, customer group) to provide financial guidance and advice to senior management and the leadership team on current and future performance of the wholesale business · Business partnering with various teams: Sales, Merchandising & Buying, Accounting to ensure a collaborative mindset · Assist the maintenance and development of business analytics which support our strategic decision-making. · Continuously seek to improve processes, controls, and the quality of deliverables using Robotic Process Automation, PowerBI and other tools · Other ad hoc requests and special projects as required Scope: role covers the Ralph Lauren EMEA region, which includes UK, Germany, Italy, France, Iberia, and Scandinavia.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* 2/3 full performance cycles experience in FP&A, audit firm, or Business Controlling strongly
* Proven track record of creating clear, concise data management - creating and delivering financial reporting and being agile and adaptable to the requirements of the business needs.
* Experience in Forecasting is essential.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills can work well in changeable financial environments, working.
* Advanced Excel skills with experience of building and working with large data sets
* Experience working with non-finance staff and ability to explain financial data to them
* PowerBI experience preferred but not essential.
