Position Overview
Please note this is a Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity leave. Please note this role is located in London and you must have already have the Right To Work in the United Kingdom of Great Britain. The Digital Project Manager is a key role in EMEA Digital team, working with business stakeholders to define feature and functionality requirements for Ralph Lauren's European eCommerce websites. Partners with eCommerce Trading, Content, Merchandising, marketing, analytics, finance, tax, legal and other groups to determine optimization opportunities and compliance / regulatory requirements. You will be working with the Global Product and Platform team to drive and support delivery of high quality, simple, clear consumer experiences for the European region, the drive conversion, encourage retention, raise brand perception, and ultimately support business growth and positioning objectives. This role requires eCommerce platform understanding, strong project management skills, clear stakeholder engagement and organisation, and excellent cross-functional communication and partnership.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Participates in developing product vision and direction for eCommerce experiences that drive consumer engagement, reinforce the brand, and ultimately converts visitors to buyers
* Identifies, defines, and designs solutions for ongoing optimization of the Ralph Lauren European stores
* Works with global product management and user experience teams to integrate European eCommerce requirements with our global platform strategy
* Monitors customer satisfaction and other KPIs that define the success of eCommerce experiences; identifies and lead efforts to analyze results and continuously improve our performance
* Executes projects that drive business and consumer benefit for ralphlauren.com; responds to the needs of stakeholders and cross divisional partners throughout the development processes.
* Understands changing consumer trends in the digital retail space. Generates new eCommerce experience ideas, researching and analyzing for feasibility and business impact
* Collaborates with business stakeholders to determine unmet customer needs and develops feature/functionality requirements that meet those needs
* Analyzes competitors and market trends; evaluates technologies; develops detailed requirements, feature definitions, business process changes, and internal communication plans.
* Supports cross-functional teams during the entire lifecycle of product development, including deployment and post-deployment activities. Proactively identifies problems that arise in the project, outlines options, recommends solutions, and escalates as needed
* Works with internal business groups to adjust business tools and practices in order to support new features and functionality.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
* 5 full performance cycles as a product manager, digital tech project manager or similar function for eCommerce businesses
* proven success in translating business strategy into feature/functionality requirements
* Understanding of a technical change process from idea intake through to dev, QA, UAT, release and post release bug resolution.
* Understanding of A/B testing design and execution
* Agile or other lean development process experience desired
* Ability to self-organize multiple tasks and to complete them on time with a clear focus on quantitative results
* Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
* Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts at the functional level
* High level of intellectual curiosity and can successfully operate in ambiguity
* Ability to put team before self and be energetically collaborative
* Strong analytical, prioritization and negotiating skills
* Passionate about building great products and solving customer and business problems
* Experience in managing multiple stakeholders across several locations, countries and time zones
* Understanding of full end to end digital consumer journeys and supporting systems and processes.
* Knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Order Management Systems, SEO requirements a plus.
