Position Overview
This role is responsible for assisting with key strategic and operational projects in Ralph Lauren's Product master and merchandising business areas. The primary focus of this role is centered on supporting in product data management applications (PIM/MDM) in coordination with supply chain ERP and digital systems. This candidate will act as a key liaison with various cross functional partners to ensure that the business needs are being met and that the business users can perform their jobs efficiently and effectively. The candidate will work on various projects in collaboration with Digital & Ecom partners across globe in delivering the new enhancement and support existing features.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities · Works closely with merchandising and production team in managing the product information and support key projects. · Focus on digital product data attributions and Product Information Management principles applied through the Supply Chain. · Work closely with master data and business admins in enforcing master data governance and best practices. · Work closely with the digital and Ecom partners in delivering features related to product data. · Recommend and prioritize changes in development, maintenance, and system standards accordingly. · Ensure all documentation comply and effectively communicate the status of meetings and projects. · Ensure proper documentation and change Control Processes are complied with requirements. · Responsible for thorough quality assurance testing in every development cycle. · Manage communication, training to business teams and coordination across RLD/IT partners. · Provide day to day triage and support for project and service-related efforts for cross-functional teams through incident management process. · Support the Learning & Development Department with the development and updates to the training materials. · Document product process flow models and requirements. · Work with Agile process and prioritize the sprints with development team. · Continue to enforce adherence and compliance to SDLC, PMO and SOX processes for all phases.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Qualifications & Requirements · Experience preferred in Business and information systems. · 5+ year of IT Experience as business analyst · 1-3 + years of Product master data experience in retail industry is preferred. · Experience in working with Digital & Ecom domain is preferred. Desired Skills · Experience in MDM/PIM tool is a big plus. (Preferably Riversand/Syndigo) · Working knowledge in Safe Agile pattern and tools. (JIRA & Confluence is preferred) · Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) · Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. · Ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment. · Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills to facilitate meetings and workshops across functional teams. · Flexible with travel within NY/NJ area · Knowledge on SQL technology is a plus. · Exposure to any testing tool (TestRail) is a plus.
