JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for overseeing the operations of retail store, ensuring its efficiency and profitability. To lead, develop and implement sales strategies to excel in Customer Experience, Operational Excellence and ultimately Driving Results. The Retail Manager, HK and Macau is accountable for creating and implementing a retail/ process infrastructure that is aligned with our corporate vision and relevant in our local markets in the region.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Sales Management
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize sales plan and achieve company objectives
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth
  • Provide inputs to budgeting process in terms of sales forecast, headcount requirements and financial requirements
  • Closely communicate with regional team on local trading environment and trends, including competition, tourism, consumer trends
  • Ensure efficient reporting, administrative management and upwards communication


Team Management
  • Communicate vision, strategy and clear directions to retail staff
  • Structure the organization of retail activity and allocate responsibilities
  • Ensure adequate staffing through recruitment, rotation, mobility, training and development
  • Monitor sales team performance, motivate, drive, inform and actively coordinate retail teams
  • Ensure proper training of sales staff and excellent customer service
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communications


Brand Ambassador
  • Act as brand ambassador, actively promote the brand in the local market
  • Propose and effectively implement local marketing, customer relation/VIP strategies bringing in a positive exposure to the brand image
  • Nurture relationship with business community and competition
  • Keep abreast of counterfeits activities in the market and provide regular feedback/information to the anti-counterfeiting department


Operations
  • Oversee day-to-day operation of the stores and solve unresolved operational issues
  • Ensure that the standards of housekeeping and merchandising are maintained at all times
  • Enforce compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, i.e. employment, finance, health and safety etc.
  • Plan and take necessary steps to have optimum stock levels, appropriate merchandize mix and inventory; maintain accurate inventory control and minimize discrepancies at the lowest possible level
  • Provide necessary resources and support to stores; while monitoring and control store expenses effectively
  • Handle customer complaints
  • Liaise with suppliers and ensure optimum store conditions
  • Implement and support all security measures
  • Investigate and report on any occurrence outside normal events


QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
  • Degree holder with at least 5 years' managerial experience in fashion luxury retail industry
  • Posses with strong business acumen with professional interpretative and negotiation skills
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with good analytical skills and logical thinking
  • Excellent communication capability and professional presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze sales data and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions
  • Ability to work under pressure and lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Fluency in English, knowledge of Cantonese is an advantage
  • Computer literacy
