Primary Purpose:

Support China Logistics team to provide and maintain the best in class service level to the counterparts in the organization and the Retail stores in China, with driving cost down continuously through optimizing operation process and improving 3PL's productivity.

Warehouse and Transportation Operation
  • Manage China Local Fulfilment Center day-to-day Warehouse and Transportation operations through 3PLs
  • Work with different departments and stake holders in Buying, Inventory Management, Allocation, Retail Ops, Visual Merchandising, Construction, Marketing, eCom and Retail Sales to meet all service level agreements meanwhile optimizing cost saving
  • Support the operation and delivery for Newness and Replenishment, and arrange special delivery (e.g. new stores, PCE/FF, etc.) according to business needs, make the Logistics plan for peak seasons and long holidays
  • Be the central contact window/liaison for warehouse daily operation for Merchandising products (incl. Handbags, FTW, APP, Accessories etc.) and Non-Merchandising (incl. uniforms, packaging material, stationary, VM props/mannequin, Marketing samples/gifts, Construction materials/furniture etc.), to ensure on time/in full delivery to stores
  • Monitor and coordinate the delivery of Store to Store transfer with providing daily tracking, process review, troubleshooting and cost control
  • Support all reverse logistics operation from China Retail Stores to the warehouse (including regular full price delete and return after Clearance and any promotional events), control the transportation and warehouse handling lead time and cost
  • Support the on time delivery to Wholesale Customers and on time return handling from Wholesale customer in compliance with the Wholesale team and Customer's requirements
  • Support the on time delivery from China LFC to Stores or Customers for Digital Printing and Remote sales project
  • Collect monthly KPI reports from 3PLs timely, validate the accuracy and provide operation statistics to management
  • Supervise the periodical stock-take and cycle count in the warehouse, ensure the on time completion and accurate result submission, identify root cause and monitor the inventory adjustment accordingly
  • Working with Inventory Accounting and IT team to reconcile inventory between SAP and WMS, to fix the variance if any
  • Plan, organize and coordinate x-functionally for defective and obsolescent inventory write-off or disposal
  • Manage the purchase and inventory management of Logistics consumable material
  • Work with Merchandising and Warehouse team on the regular price change in China stores and warehouse
  • Support all VAS (including labeling, relabeling, gift boxing, unsnuffing etc.) handling criteria, protocol and process to ensure on time and accurate completion
  • Support store operation related including issuing Transmittals and responding to stores' daily inquiries/feedback/complaints about warehouse/transportation


Budget Planning and Forecast
  • Support the China Logistics budget planning and monthly re-forecasting, work with FP&A team and Logistics vendors to track monthly logistics expense, provide the analysis if necessary
  • Cost-effective control and implementation during daily operation tasks
  • Review and check monthly bills from vendors, confirm billing with collecting invoices and manage PR/PO/Payment process in BuyingHub System


System and Process Control
  • Support continuous standardization/simplification of warehouse operation processes via system automation and upgrading (WMS, S4, HHT, Store Supply System)
  • System trouble shooting for daily issues i.e. Delivery/cancellation/GI delay, zero receiving, store/warehouse inventory adjustment due to discrepancy etc.
  • Develop and update SOP (Standard Operating Process), WI (Working Instruction) and User Manual as needed


Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Provide analysis when needed, e.g. domestic transportation delivery (including outbound, return, STS by different MOT by different vendors)
  • Maintain and update all operation statistics including processing and inventory volume, metrics on a monthly basis
  • Documents filing, records keeping


Administrative Support
  • MBR/QBR (Monthly/Quarterly Business Review) arrangement, store visit planning and arrangement, etc.


The responsibilities are not limited to the above; the job holder will also follow other work assigned by his/her immediate supervisor.

The accomplished individual will possess...
  • 3+ years of directly related experience in Logistics including both warehouse and transportation (experience in Retail industry would be a plus)
  • Solid knowledge in warehouse end-to-end operation procedures and transportation vendor management (familiar with logistics cost composition will be highly preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills; very sensitive to business figures/data
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management System and Retail POS System would be a plus
  • Strong communication skills externally and internally with multiple functions
  • Be able to perform multiple tasks under time constraints
  • Excellence with Excel
  • Proficiency with Word, PPT, Visual
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Stable personality, Customer-driven orientation, Teamwork
  • Bachelor's degree or above
