About the Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Marketing leads the brand's global marketing strategy, operations and innovation that will drive the integration and execution across multiple platforms and distribution channels. Full funnel marketer to crystalize brand position and drive traffic from an omnichannel perspective. Leads a future ready and brand defining omni customer experience strategy that accelerates brand equity, customer love and sustained long term business growth and performance. This leader will also drive market share and profitability by increasing product demand and traffic through successful marketing campaigns, communications, advertising, and public relations/comms by using market research, the brand vision and in-depth customer insights to guide the work.

What You'll Do

  • Transform the culture into a customer-centric organization across all work groups. Inspire, communicate and educate on evolution of omni customer journey and the future ready potential.
  • Influences cross-company agreement on how to deliver greatest value to customers.Partner with product leaders, brand strategy and commerce channels leaders to develop and action against vision, strategy and prioritized work streams.
  • Use customer insights and customer empathy to solve top customer pain points and define brand strategy and positioning.
  • Increase customer frequency, engagement and loyalty through building a world class loyalty program and experience integrated into the omni journey, in partnership with Gap Inc Loyalty team.
  • Fosters strong network of collaborative, cross-functional, relationships at all levels and outside of Brand.
  • Leads and inspires functional teams to be product obsessed, customer-focused, innovative, fast-moving and team-oriented.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to Senior Management and continually assesses competitor initiatives and market trends.
  • Generate and manage marketing calendar and marketing budget with measurable return on investment.
  • Cultivate and nurture a spirit of creativity, collaboration and innovation.

  • Deep experience inspiring and executing profitable, holistic strategies and plans in global retail organizations.
  • Proven marketing leader with exceptional track record developing marketing, digital and brand strategies
  • Experience in managing budgets and meeting/exceeding financial targets
  • Demonstrated understanding of technology, digital content creation and distribution and ability to identity related issues and opportunities.
  • Ability to manage and influence external marketing resources
  • Creative thinker with track record of innovation for identifying new platforms and products
  • Undergraduate (Bachelor's Equivalent) degree preferred; MBA preferable
  • Minimum 15 years proven marketing management experience

  • Ability to create compelling multi-function vision to support the business strategy and show value of functions operating together
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through significant change & transformation to move an organization forward.
  • Capable of staffing, developing, and managing performance of diverse leadership team

  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment and manage stakeholders effectively
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and initiatives in constantly evolving market
  • Understanding of brand building, consumer insight, and product pipelines processes

Salary Range: $245,500 - $337,600 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
