JOB PURPOSE
As our Asset and Profit Protection (APP) Analyst, you will work closely with the APP team to provide data analytics and gap analysis of key areas of compliance across Burberry that would leave us potentially exposed from a risk perspective if not highlighted. This reporting is to be provided across multiple departments within the business, and we're looking for a data-led expert who is passionate about luxury retail to support this incredibly important area of our business.
This Asset & Profit Protection Analyst role is offered on a full time, permanent basis, with hybrid working from our iconic Horseferry House offices in Westminster, London.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining and monitoring our IntelliQ system, ensuring daily data loads are clear of errors, updates of key data streams from different functions and troubleshooting any issues
- Building a suite of reports using IntelliQ and SAP, designed to highlight key areas of risk within our store network, including:
- Store KPI Reporting
- Stock Adjustment Reporting
- Store Incident Reporting
- Digital Fraud Reporting
- Reviewing automated KPI/trend analysis reports, flagging any issues or concerns to key stakeholders
- Partnering with our regional APP teams to provide reports, analysis and evidence for investigations
- Maintenance of the APP Operations database, keeping store master and HR data up to date
- Supporting stock loss reporting, including data cleansing, performing analysis on required areas of concerns and creating store level posters
- Providing support to the Digital Fraud team with chargebacks
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Experienced in retail fraud prevention
- Experience with data mining systems, ideally IntelliQ
- Proficient in 0365 Suite, in particular Excel (intermediate level)
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Inquisitive and curious, specifically across data analysis, able to spot trends and patterns
- Retail chargeback processing knowledge would be useful
- Any skills with SQL, Microsoft Access, SAP or Power Platforms would be great, but by no means essential
