Position Overview
Responsible for assisting the team by participating in all phases of the design development process from initial concept to final garment production (initial concept research, sketching, tech packs, trim research, wash development) for women's and girls denim and roughwear

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design team, merchandising, technical design, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs will be executed to our quality and aesthetic standards - Develop sketches and ideas in 2D (Illustrator/Photoshop) and 3D for seasonal design presentations and developments - Prepare handoffs for seasonal styles, which include artwork and sketch/ construction detail pages and upload design components to PLM system - Attend fittings together with technical design and Product management - Focus on seasonal market competitive research, take advantage of our RL library for inspirational and history research to bring design ideas to meetings -Work with design team on wash selection and handoffs - Work with graphic teams for seasonal newness and updates

Experience, Skills & Knowledge
-Bachelor's degree in fashion design preferred - Excellent/Proficient in Adobe AI, PS - 3D design if possible - Interest in Denim, Roughwear and washed product -Highly detail oriented, ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment -Strong organization skills, time management and communication skills. -Must be self motivated, problem solver and take direction well -Ability to be resourceful, flexible and a collaborative team player, positive attitude - Team player who understands how assigned tasks relate to others in the teams - Ensures consistent quality of own work -Ability to quickly grasp and interpret RL aesthetic and sensibility #LI-CE1
