Primary Purpose:

You will be assigned to multiple Production Facilities, and assumes full responsibility for the flow of information through the Service Provider (SP), from raw materials and sample sign off until shipment. You work in close synergy with the Production Operations Manager (POM) and onsite Engineer (OSE) and reports into Production Operations Director (POD). You will be responsible for application of the Tapestry Service Provider Manufacturing strategy from a Supply chain perspective.

Maintains continuity of supply through the Plan Placement at the Service provider.
  • Distributes the Purchase orders to the Service Providers (SPs) and verify of order details
  • Ensures Raw Material Purchase Order placement timely
  • Follow up materials Liability for Purchase Change Request/Demand Change Request, cancellation
  • Responsible for Raw Material Airing Approval application & Air/Sea difference Debit Note follow-up.

Ensures On time delivery through proactive action and with the Service Provider and Taspestry Team.
  • Follow up daily output, efficiency monitoring, and analysis and take appropriate action.
  • Monitors Raw Material delivery status with the factory. Escalate issues to Material Team (Hardware, Leather, and Textile) team as required on an exceptional basis.
  • Understand the root causes impact to Finished Goods delivery (judgment of extra cost i.e. air freight charge)
  • Communicates with New York Admin and New York Operations for missed follow out Intro/ Finished Goods impact.

Manages the utilization of the Capacity according to Tapestry Strategy and requirements.
  • Analysis production forecast & validate with Production Operations Director (POD), Production Operations Manager (POM).
  • Analysis & foresee potential delay impact to Coach Delivery requirement.
  • Cooperate with appropriate partners to move in/out orders for balancing cap

Monitor timelines to ensure smooth transition from commercialization to production
  • Identifies long lead-time styles. Support the POD on the management of long lead time programs. Liaising with Product Development, SP & New York Operations. Agree on production lead time with Service Providers (SPs) and follow up of production.
  • Responsible for local management of PRN. Review/ provide the best proposal to minimize impact for both Coach and SPs.
  • Verify/monitor and utilize liability.
  • Responsible for Collateral packaging materials delivery communication with NY Ops (Gift box) and CIL packaging team, as required.
  • Supports New York market week team to ensure on time delivery of market week samples as required.

The accomplished individual will possess...
  • Degree holder or above with minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in merchandising field - preferable in handbags, leather goods, apparel, or footwear
  • Strong logical thinking and good problem-solving
  • Familiar with SAP system preferable
  • Ability to work independently, attention to detail, and good communication & coordination
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is a must, familiar with Office 2010 operation system is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, spoken & written in English & local language.
