HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
  • Prepare consolidated and separate domestic corporate federal income tax returns, including international transactions and related forms
  • Prepare combined and separate corporate state income tax returns, including state apportionment schedules
  • Prepare and file quarterly federal and state estimated income tax payments
  • Prepare periodic and year-end income tax provision and financial statement disclosure schedules
  • Reconcile cash tax payments to the ledger
  • Manage data collection from multiple sources and relationships with external advisors and internal finance teams to ensure tax returns are timely remitted to the appropriate jurisdictions
  • Review state income tax nexus to ensure compliance with statutory filing requirements
  • Assist with the preparation of transfer pricing reports and federal, state and local income tax audits
  • Maintain proficiency in state and local tax laws using tax research software
  • Work on special projects and research complex tax issues as required


WHO YOU ARE
  • 3-5 years of experience preparing federal and state corporate income tax returns
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, or a tax concentration within an accounting program; advanced degree a plus
  • Ability to research tax laws and regulations using third party research tools such as BNA
  • Experience using OneSource tax software, fixed asset depreciation calculations and SAP
  • Organized and detail oriented with the ability to prioritize competing tasks, anticipate resource needs and meet deadlines
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, and well-versed in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment
  • Professional, dependable, demonstrating integrity, trustworthiness and a cooperative attitude
  • Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
