Role Overview:

As the Press and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communications initiatives to enhance Moncler's brand visibility. Your role will involve cultivating relationships with key editors, influencers, and stakeholders, crafting compelling messaging, and overseeing the overall communication strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier fashion editors, journalists, bloggers, and other media representatives. In tandem with Americas VP of Marketing & Communications, the HQ Press team and press agency Karla Otto, proactively pitch stories, securing media coverage, and managing press inquiries to ensure consistent and positive brand representation.
  • Content Oversight: Review and write press releases, pitch articles, communicate look books with press, and contribute to other written materials. Ensure messaging aligns with brand values and resonates with target audiences in US, Canada & South America.
  • Brand Messaging: Develop and refine the brand's messaging strategy to convey a cohesive and compelling narrative across all communication channels. Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and messaging in line with the brand's mountain DNA.
  • Event Management: Plan and execute press events, fashion shows, product launches, and other awareness activities to generate buzz and engage media and influencers. Coordinate logistics, manage guest lists, and oversee event follow-up.
  • Influencer Partnerships: Work with the Global Talent Team to identify, establish, and nurture relationships with fashion influencers and key opinion leaders who align with Moncler's brand image. Collaborate on campaigns and activations to expand brand reach.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze media coverage, social media engagement, and other relevant metrics to evaluate the success of PR and communications efforts. Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments, including DOS and wholesale channels to align communication strategies with overall business goals. Ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints.

  • Bachelor's degree, focus on Communications, Public Relations and Marketing are a plus
  • 3-4+ years of professional experience in luxury field
  • Strong relationships with relevant press and media contacts, along with cultural influencers
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and engaging narratives
  • Creative thinker with the ability to conceptualize unique and innovative communication strategies
  • Proficiency in managing and coordinating events, from planning to execution
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Familiarity with PR tools, social media platforms, and analytics tools
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • A passion for fashion, luxury, and an understanding of current industry trends
  • Highly motivated with ability to organize multiple teams and concepts to achieve results

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, Moncler includes a reasonable estimate of the salary rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $90,000.00per year to $100,000.00 per year.
