Job Description:
The Marketing Communications department seeks a full-time tenure-track faculty member who is a motivated professional with demonstrated leadership and ability to teach courses in the areas of multi-camera studio production, portable production, post-production, and various computer application courses including MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Canva.
Candidates will demonstrate a strong background in digital video and computer applications, preferably in the advertising industry, with the ability to integrate current technologies and demonstrate mastery of direct and related concepts and their practical applications.
The successful candidate will be current in industry advancements and emerging trends with a passion for empowering students to succeed in their academic and professional pursuits while embracing academic scholarship.
The new faculty member's primary teaching responsibility will be to deliver engaging lectures and demonstrations that facilitate the production process and promote active learning, encourage critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills, and develop and expand on the curriculum in the areas of video studio and field production, and computer applications for marketing communications and content creation.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to, advising students, and identifying opportunities through mentorship, internships, seminars, and industry functions while cultivating strategic national and international alliances with industry and other academic institutions.
The candidate will be an integral part of the planning and implementation of the strategic goals for the program, participate in department, school, and college-wide committee service, and support the accreditation and administrative activities as required.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a field related to broadcast/video production, communication, and/or business applications, or be enrolled in a master's degree program, in progress to completion.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in broadcast/video production, marketing technology, and/or related industries.
- Broadcast studio experience in the area(s) of multi-camera control room directing, portable video production, post-production, and computer applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a field related to broadcast/video production, communication and/or business applications.
- College-level teaching or instructional experience.
- Expertise in MS Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
