This Planning position will focus in our Close to Body division within Calvin Klein--category examples in this division include Sport, Lingerie, Solution (e.g., shapewear), Logo, and Sports Bras.The Sr Merchandise Planner will be a key partner to Brand Merchandising and Global regions/ Regional channels to understand and address product opportunities and challenges. They will help develop seasonal product plans, analyze sku productivity, perform in-season and post-season hindsight reporting across Regional channels by collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners. The Senior Merchandise Planner will undertake projects with high levels of engagement and curiosity as well as demonstrate accountability and ownership. S/He will ensure accurate and timely calendar management for each season. The candidate must have good analytical skills with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills, and they will manage, train, and develop the Merchandise Planner.


Product Strategy:
  • Collaborate with Merchandising to create seasonal product assortments that align with the Brand vision, financial plan targets and identifies product opportunities
  • Review aggregation of Global regions' pre-season buy projections by classification, program, essentials, product segmentation for all KPIs at Go-to-Consumer milestones to ensure we maximize opportunities and minimize risks
  • Compile and analyze quarterly, seasonal, annual actualized shipments, style/sku counts, and margins for Regional channels. Monitor actuals against projections to understand business results and share insights on variances.
  • Provide style/sku planning guidance to ensure style/sku adoption rate targets are achieved to drive selling productivity

Business Analysis:
  • Lead process and mange aggregation of selling data across Global regions and Regional channels
    • Analyze In-Season/Post-season business opportunity
      • WTD/MTD selling analysis and share out
      • QTD/STD selling hind sights
    • Analyze Top line sales and sales trends
    • Analyze Best and worst sellers; color selling
    • Analyze Assortment updates and learnings
  • Provide both qualitative and quantitative insights at seasonal hind sights and investment reviews, drawing conclusions to inform future product line architecture
  • Drive weekly business discussions with Regional channels and connect with cross-functional teams to analyze the business and dig deeper into product selling performance
  • Perform margin and cost analysis to ensure margin targets are achieved, and call out risks as needed
  • Recognize opportunities for improvements and build processes and tools to support the team
  • Solicit and perform ad-hoc analysis as needed

  • Bachelor's degree; a business background, preferred
  • 5 to 7+ years of experience in a retail or wholesale environment, including time as a Planner, Buyer, or as Retail business analyst
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of ACS, SAP, 7th On-Line, Lighthouse, Visulon preferred
  • Strong analytical/math Skills
  • Strong time management skills, attention to detail, problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills - communication between functional groups is critical
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills


Pay Range: $110,000 - $125,000
PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting.
