Position Overview
As the PMT Lead of Purchasing, Core and Replenishment , you will manage the end-to-end business process from development, allocation/capacity planning to production (full product life cycle) for the Polo Brand Knits and Woven categories including Men's, Women's and Children's. You will collaborate with the Global Sourcing offices, Raw Material teams as well as various cross functional partners to ensure the integrity of bulk production and equal product from all countries of origin. This role will drive the global core allocation strategy and execution of product strategy for the brand to create best overall value in terms of product, price, lead-time, and quality. Implement Scenario Planning, analysis on cost/benefit. This position will have one direct report.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Provide agility at scale: Analysis of annual supply plan to provide direction for upcoming core commodity purchase · Top Program cost analysis informing super season Global allocation · Integrated planning: identify and eliminate redundancies. · Execute Replenishment and New buying models · Quarterly review of buying cadence/calendars: 30% less than 3 months, 80% of orders less than 6 months · Own the Super Season allocation plan to ensure alignment with Business expansion strategy · Manage macro impacts, leverage near shore sourcing strategies to mitigate and balance risk · Ensuring 2-3 COO (Country of Origin) options for all core products · Monitor & automate monthly replenishment Forecast · Review and Ensure SKU productivity and gap analysis - annual product review with developing COO · Assist to secure the best product globally, drive counter sourcing of raw materials and product · Maintain Equal product from all COO (Country of Origin) · Support business data analysis such as Sample Status, Costing roll-up, Metric report and Seasonal Development Status
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
· Very strong Analytical skills · Be a subject matter expert in knits and woven products - includes experience in product development, product engineering and production: end to end lifecycle · Strong leadership and communication skills. · Strong organizational skills · In depth excel & systems knowledge · Embodies the Cultural Focus Areas of the RL Bran
