Position Overview
The Inbound Receiving Manager is responsible for the work and safety of multiple inbound departments or areas. This will not only include cross coverage of inbound areas in HPD, but also training and providing support across the campus. He/she will direct the flow of product from receipt to putaway through all processes in between. They ensure that staffing, supplies, and other resource requirements are provided in accordance with budgetary guidelines. They will also communicate production plans, staffing plans, department and company goals and other business needs to appropriate individual(s), and provide overall guidance for staff/team members and projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage the movement of inbound receipts and putaway through the warehouse in a timely manner
*
* Monitor lock codes
* Yard Audit once a week
*
* Review achievements and required changes in goals/objectives resulting from current status/priorities
* Conduct presentations and meetings as required
* Responsible/Accountable for area safety results/issues, training, and implementing improvements · Work with admins to ensure the yard is current and accurate as well as paper work FTZ requirements · Continuous communication with our internal and external account services partners on objectives · Ensure a strong floor presence to support DCC's as well as associates.Other duties as assigned by senior leadership

* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* College degree preferred
* Significant experience working in a leadership position, warehouse/DC a plus
* Requires detailed understanding of the distribution center, management skills, business practices
* Keen judgment in applying policies and adapting standard methods to accomplish goals
* Extensive knowledge of protocol and communication skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality
* Ability to work well under pressure
