Job Title: Manager, Consumer Insights

Primary Purpose: The Manager of Global Consumer Insights, Coach is a member of our Strategy and Consumer Insights team and is responsible for supporting Tapestry's consumer insights roadmap and innovation strategy across the brand. The role has high visibility in the organization and regularly interacts with Coach and Tapestry leadership across the organization. This role will report into the Director of Consumer Insights, Coach.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Consumer Insights to...
  • Support the Consumer Insights roadmap for Coach in order to drive the brand's growth goals and objectives in the coming years
  • Manage custom qualitative and quantitative research from end-to-end, collaborating with brand functional partners and external agencies to ensure objectives are met
  • Test, evaluate and build new insights capabilities (e.g. global pre-testing) in partnership with brand functional partners
  • Utilize a wide variety of qualitative, quantitative, social listening tools, etc. (both syndicated and custom) in order to address key strategic questions for the brand
  • Organize the learning agenda for the brand's always-on digital research community
  • Leverage learnings from transversal studies (e.g. Brand Health, A&Us) to customize and present to Coach's Leadership Team and drive initiatives grounded in what we learn from the consumer
  • Develop clear, concise presentations and recommendations rooted in consumer insights to influence leaders across Coach and Tapestry and formulate actionable brand strategies
  • Help build a worldclass consumer insights function that creates lasting consumer relationships to power global growth


The accomplished individual will possess...
  • 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in a consumer-focused, data-driven role
  • Strong technical mastery of research methodology and fundamentals, with expertise in qual / quant methodologies from design to execution
  • Excellent analytical skills, proven ability to translate learnings into actionable insights
  • Intellectually curious and creative, strong interest in consumer behavior and trends
  • Highly self-motivated/self-directed and able to excel in ambiguity
  • Innate drive for actionable and tangible impact on the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a highly matrixed organization and with external agency partners and suppliers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good storyteller - succinct and impactful for senior audiences
  • Highly adaptable, works well in an environment of change


An outstanding professional will have...
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree preferred; Master's degree a plus
  • Experience in developing business strategies, ideally for global businesses preferred
  • Retail industry experience preferred
