JOB PURPOSE

The Brand Manager - West Coast will develop growth strategy and relationships between all Department and Specialty Store accounts across the Americas in-line with sales target and brand vision. This role will ensure consistency of brand presentation throughout the network in all accounts. The Manager will oversee the development of DSA's and follow through with expectations.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute the wholesale strategy, including VM, sell-through management and market brand consistency across designated POS locations
  • Oversee DSA performance in market
  • Ensure DSAs are driving business, provide goals, develop action plans and increase accountability, process bonus and uniforms
  • Oversee DSA Monthly Calls and action plans
  • Manage relationships with wholesale account general and department managers
  • Training guides - create and/or distribute for all accounts and ensure distribution to all stores and buyers (VM/and product)
  • Plan PK and store monthly coverage to drive sales; Plan clinics w/ network - related to product knowledge/Store Visits
  • Ensure VM standards upheld and train in-store teams how to execute VM strategy
  • Leverage retail stores within a market, responsible to coordinate with local retail teams to support wholesale whenever possible
  • Weekly Recap- Aggregate all recaps cross-category and send 1 recap to WS team
  • Showroom Market Participation - select accounts
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4-6 years Wholesale (Sales) experience, with proven track record of managing relationships with Department and Specialty store accounts
  • Experience building relationships with key Department and Specialty stores, along with an appreciation for the targeted market
  • Familiarity with major US and Canadian retailers
  • Possesses strong analytical skills with proficient use of Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas, charts, etc.)
  • Self-starter with ability to organize and manage workload and work independently
  • Travel approx. 80% of time
