The head office for the DACH and EEC markets, covering 13 countries with more than 2.700 employees, is located in Düsseldorf and is the main location for around 500 employees.

As our Specialist for Regional Risk Management you will manage, coordinate, and drive all profit protection related topics in our PVH Region West, including data analysis and reporting. We are striving for maximum transparency regarding in-store transactions and processes and want to ensure a high level of compliance. In addition, the reduction of regional shrinkage, the identification of priority stores and the performance of virtual store audits are highly important tasks.

A day in the life of a Specialist Regional Risk Management (m/f/x):
  • You will review and optimize store processes and procedures, as well as ensure compliance with internal guidelines and work instructions in our stores
  • You will analyze data on critical in-store transactions and overview cash differences
  • You will support the update of internal work instructions (Policies & Procedures, Store Manuals, Guidelines) as well as the design and implementation of the Risk Management strategy for PVH Region West
  • You will partner with stakeholders in the business to support and drive the Risk Management strategy and regularly exchange and coordinate with our HQ teams in Amsterdam
  • You will analyze stock loss, provide insights on the fundamental causes of loss and support the identification of risk and implementation of actions to reduce loss across the region
  • You will monitor and react to bi-weekly RFID stock take counts, investigate and report/escalate findings
  • You will provide support and cost-effective solutions to stores reporting high levels of incidents
  • You will ensure relevant technical equipment is operating correctly and relevant employees are trained and proficient in its use (CCTV, intruder alert, security tags/ gates)
  • You will investigate cases of suspected internal staff dishonesty and policy breaches. Support the preparation of interviews in line with company HR protocol & Legal
  • You will train managers and store teams on the causes of loss, how to safely mitigate risks and how to manage and respond to emergency situations in stores
  • You will conduct regular digital audits to ensure stores are adhering to Risk and Operational Policy and Procedures and report findings

What do we need from you? You have:
  • Relevant experience in profit protection, ideally gained within a retail environment
  • The ability to research and analyze multiple data streams to make informed decisions
  • Knowledge of store processes and procedures
  • Strong project and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Local/regional store processes, laws & regulations, and cultural knowledge
  • Very good analytical skills, as well as advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and SAP BW
  • An independent, highly structured, and precise way of working
  • The willingness to travel
  • Fluent German and English skills
