PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT INTERN

THE POSITION

Cecilie Bahnsen is looking for a product development intern to join our Copenhagen-based team. The internship entails being part of the ready-to-wear collection development, with an October 2023 / November 2023 start date. The position offers experience within the technical aspects of developing an RTW collection, within our in-house studio and with external vendors.

The intern ́s key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with technical drawings and tech packs
• Pattern and cutting preparation in the studio
• Assisting with garment toiles and preparing for fittings
• Packing trim/materials for send-out and creating packing lists
• Attending collection review fittings
• Various tasks depending on the season and deadlines

Cecilie Bahnsen, founded in 2015, is a luxury-clothing label based in Copenhagen with a stockist list counting 125 of the finest doors worldwide. Drawing on a rich culture of design, the collections combine couture craftsmanship with sculptural silhouettes, reinterpreted for a contemporary audience. Each garment is manufactured in Europe and handmade with traditional techniques, intricate detailing and uniquely designed fabrics to present a timeless expression of modern femininity.

The internship is unpaid. It is an opportunity to supplement your education with relevant experience within your subject, and gain insight into one of the industry’s most exciting luxury RTW labels.
